Better Amusement Hire - Joylands is a family operated business which has been operating for the past 45 years as a full serviced carnival company.
Joylands was founded in 1958 by George Melonas and is still operated by George and his family today.
The company started off small with a few small rides and a jumping castle. In 1989 George and his family purchased Better Amusement Hire and has since built up the business to cater for a diverse range of events including the Capital Shows, festivals, fetes, corporate events, Christmas parties and fundraisers.
Based and operated in Sydney we pride ourselves on our professionalism and dedication to each and every function be it large or small.
We have one of the largest selections of portable amusements devices in Australia.
The company's growth has not been sudden; it has been accomplished by steady, solid planned expansion in a series of easy steps. With this measured growth the company management and staff have been able to easily progress in their training from simple kiddies rides to some of the most sophisticated amusement devices available today.
